Supports Languages Commonly Published With ExpressionEngine
We would love to tell you that that only written language eeSiteKit’s new multilingual system doesn’t support is music. The fact is, there are so many different written languages out there, its highly likely eeSiteKit won’t support them all.
If ExpressionEngine supports it, then there’s a good chance it will work with eeSiteKit’s new system. We just haven’t had a chance to test it yet with every possibility out there.
If you’re building an eeSiteKit 2.0 site in some language other than English, let us know, and we’ll list it here.
Multilingual Websites with ExpressionEngine

eeSiteKit is Multilingual-Ready; Supports 2 or More Languages.
- Supports 1, 2, 3 or more languages at once
- Supports 2 different methods of managing multilingual content:
- Dedicated Channel (each channel (weblog) has one dedicated language)
- Blended Channel, (each entry supports multiple language translations)
- Also you may use both methods in one site at the same time
- You choose the site’s primary “Host” language. (English-USA is assigned by default)
- Works without setting additional cookies, add-on scripts, sub-domains or the traditional language-trigger segments in the URI
- Uses one easy-to-edit language specific template for each language: language template includes translations for all buttons, form labels, simple user instructions and dynamic link titles
- Supports fully translated site navigation, including the site URI: eeSiteKit’s advanced multilingual template system allows you to have fully translated URIs, and it translates your dynamic hyperlinks so that you can navigate your site as if the language you’re using is always the site’s native or host language
Example:
English: http://asitedomain.com/landing-page/category-page/entry-title/26/
Deutsch: http://asitedomain.com/Landung-Seite/Kategorie-Seite/Eintrag-Titel/26/
Nederlands: http://asitedomain.com/landing-pagina/categorie-pagina/entry-titel/26/
eeSiteKit comes with an optional dynamic translate-link system that will allow visitors to switch between languages on most pages of your site.
Comes with multilingual support of URIs, meta-data, page title-tag text, dynamic-links, dynamic-menus, content and forms; practically everything.
