This Website Was Made With YAML
This website was created using one of YAML’s Advanced Layout Options combined with a three-column sub-template example we copied right out of YAMLs online documentation.
Since this layout’s div structure was slightly different that the “Simple Project” template, we used eeSiteKit’s new and optional “kit_display_light” template group to make creating our site’s new layout quick and painless.
Thanks to YAML’s great framework, we created this website’s cross-browser compatible layout, with its flexible (740px to 960px) width content areas, in less than hour.
YAML XHTML/CSS Framework with ExpressionEngine

eeSiteKit 2.0 is fully integrated with the YAML 3.1 CSS framework by Dirk Jesse.
We’ve integrated YAML’s “Simple Project” template into eeSiteKit for use with or without the YAML Builder for a quick, cross-browser, standards-compliant foundation for your next site. You can see the default template layout that ships with eeSiteKit at: demo.eesitekit.com. We built that whole site with it.
The YAML CSS framework has been in active development since 2005 and is intuitively documented in two languages (German/Deutsch and English/Englisch), globally tested, and sites built with it regularly win awards for accessibility. YAML brings a new level of consistency and reliability to your eeSiteKit-based site.
If you prefer to code your own CSS (browser re-sets and nav-scripts), just swap out the YAML CSS files and write your own using YAML’s Layout Skeleton as a starting point.
Or, if you’re a fan of Grid 960, Blueprint, YUI 3.0 beta1 or some other popular system, just swap out the “kit_display” template group with the new and optional “kit_display_light” group and build your own templates using eeSiteKit’s Custom Embed Tags. You’ll be amazed at how quick your site comes together.
