Setting Global Template Preferences for eeSiteKit
These first two setting help with eeSiteKit’s Smart Segment Validation.
Global Template Preferences are set here:
Site Name › Templates › Template Management › Global Template Preferences
- Enable Strict URLs: Yes
- 404 Page: kit_display/index
- Save Template Revisions: This is recommended during development, although totally optional. To save them choose:Yes
- Maximum Number of Revisions to Keep: It’s recommended you set this to 10 during development. Once you launch you may wish to lower the number.
- The last two settings in the global template preferences are for more advanced users and implementation of them is not necessary in order to use eeSiteKit. You can learn more about then in EE’s documentation.
